after us, the flood is a narrative game with rhythm mechanics that explores themes of stagnation. it was created as an nyu game center bfa capstone, and is currently a vertical slice of what is intended to be a complete experience.

you wake up as Piper, an amnesiac with a knack for music. together with the overly friendly Fidel, a resident of the strange yet nostalgic town you've found yourself in, romp around in a dilapidated mall and learn more about a place, and people, who've chosen to be frozen in time.

Dude, when I'm doing Fidel's minigame it randomly stops letting me try again. So I have to hit escape and go through the dialogue and it's making me die of dehydration from my rampant finger clicking. Please fix this, thank you! P.S the game is fab and I'll be sure to leave a good comment as this issue is resolved.

Fyi I am talking about the first rhythm one.

We'll get on it ASAP and toss you another reply when the build is updated! Thanks for letting us know and drink some water haha.

Great! I'll be up all night so don't be afraid to reply.

We're still working on it, but had a question so we can figure out what's going on. Does the ability to replay lock up after you fail during the first phase of the minigame when there's just a single note onscreen at once, or when there are several notes onscreen at the same time? Or have you found that it happens in either phase? Thank you for sticking with us!

First phase I think, I didn't even know there were multiple phases until now. Only one note appeared per beat. Also, no problem! I wanna see this game do good!

It's not letting me play the game. The file won't open.

Thank you for the heads up! Should be fixed for both platforms now.
